Dr. Sio Iong Ao has edited a total of eighty-five academic books for the Lecture Notes in Engineering and Computer Science (LNECS) series for the International Association of Engineers. More than ten thousand book chapters/papers have been published in these eighty-five books. Besides the first three books that are not open access, Dr. Ao has been spearheading transformative initiatives in the non-profit IAENG multinational open access smart edTech publishing for all the other books to become open access. As a result, over ten thousand scholarly book chapters can become open access, each with permanent web address. In each book chapter/paper, it involves the contributions from more than two chapter authors on average. In total, more than twenty thousand research scientists have been taking part in the scholarly works of Dr. Sio Iong Ao’s eighty-five books in the LNECS series since 2006.
